Free entry, low effort, real keyboards!

1. Price any keyboard with the estimator. It’s free and needs no account.
2. When the estimate appears, rate it positive, neutral, or negative and write one line about it. Every rating has exactly the same chance, so say what you think.
3. Add your Reddit username. That’s how I reach the winner. One entry per account, plus bonus entries for keyboard sales you add, explained in the rules.

• No purchase necessary. Entering costs nothing and there’s nothing to buy. Using the estimator is free for everyone, whether they enter or not.
• Who can enter? You need to be at least 13. If you’re under 18, get a parent or guardian’s permission first; they’ll need to be around to accept the prize. Prizes ship within the United States only, so you need a US address.
• When? Each round runs about two weeks. The closing time for the current round is shown above and on the strip at the top of the site. Entries after the close don’t count.
• One entry per person, plus bonuses. One base entry per Reddit account, and one account per person. Extra accounts, made up names, and entries with abusive or obscene content are removed. Bonus entries come only from contributed sales, below.
• Bonus entries. After entering, you can add up to three keyboard sales, ones you made or ones you bought, each with a public link to the sold listing or confirmed trade as proof. Each sale I approve earns two extra entries, so the most anyone can hold is seven. I check every link myself; only sales approved before the draw count. Approved sales may be added to the public dataset, marked as community-contributed, without your username or the link. Don’t send screenshots of your orders page; they show your address.
• How is the winner picked? A random draw over every ticket, done on the site’s server. Everyone holds one ticket for entering, plus two per approved sale. Positive, neutral, and negative ratings have exactly the same odds. Nobody’s favored for being nice.
• How does the winner find out? I announce the winner in the Reddit thread for that round and send a Reddit message within a day of the draw. Reply within 48 hours to claim, or I draw again. The winner’s username is posted publicly; nothing else is.
• The prize. The keyboard named for the round, in the condition described, shipped free to the winner’s US address. No cash alternative and no substitutions, unless the prize becomes unavailable, in which case I offer one of equal or greater value.
• Who’s running this? Me, as Taipan Keys, an independent seller. This giveaway isn’t sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected with Reddit or any keyboard company. If you have any questions, just reach out to my Reddit account, u/thetaipan!
• Your data. Your Reddit username, your feedback, and any proof links are kept only until the round’s winner is confirmed, then deleted. They never go into the site’s dataset. The rest of the site stores nothing about you. Please refer to the privacy section below.
• Changes. If I have to correct these rules for clarity, the version on this page at the time of the draw is the one that applies. I won’t change the odds or the prize mid-round.

• Using the estimator collects nothing. You don’t need an account, and there are no cookies. What you type into the form is used to make the estimate and isn’t stored.
• I count how many estimates run. Each estimate adds one to a counter. To count distinct visitors, the site takes your network address, mixes it with a value that changes every day, and keeps only the scrambled result, which can’t be turned back into an address or matched across days.
• Visitor analytics come from Vercel. It sees page views, which pages, your rough country, and which site sent you. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify anyone.
• Nothing is sold or shared. I don’t sell, trade, or hand any of this to anyone, and I don’t use it for anything except running the giveaway and improving the estimator.
• Where it lives. The site runs on Vercel and the giveaway data sits in an Upstash database, both in the United States.
• Want your entry gone? Message me on Reddit at u/thetaipan before the draw and I’ll remove it.
• Changes. If this section changes, the date at the top of it changes too.
